Mongolia. Darmapala - Budhist tsam dance mask, 19th century (Paper mache), monastery-museum of Tchoijin Lamyn, Ulan Bator). Oulan bator Tibetan mask of Dharmapala, protector of Buddhist faith. This was used in a monastery's ritual Cham ceremonies depicting the victory of Buddhism over the demons that once ruled Tibet.
